但对于一些地处偏远、技术力量相对薄弱的民营钢铁企业来说，保证连铸环节的可靠运行、不因意外停机给生产带来损失，却不是一件容易的事情。
项目合作方是一家位于山西省晋中市的“年轻”钢铁企业，成立于2005年。其异型坯连铸生产线电气控制及设备由西门子奥钢联提供，但投运之后，项目方原有的技术团队暂时无法掌握连铸生产线的运行维护技术，使系统的正常运行遇到了挑战。
正是西门子的年度服务合同帮助项目方解决了这一问题，定期维保、定制化培训、及时沟通反馈，一系列有计划、有针对性的服务不但解决了客户的燃眉之急，还使得项目方的技术队伍素质得到了大幅提升。通过年度服务合同这种合作模式，西门子与项目方实现了“双赢”。
年度服务合同解民营企业燃眉之急
项目方于2005年5月建设之初其生产工艺及技术均瞄准国内高水平。为此，其异型坯连铸生产线电气控制及设备选择与西门子奥钢联合作，由其提供全套方案。工程从设计、调试到投运，项目方与西门子之间一直保持良好的合作关系。
而投运之后，如何保证生产线正常运行，成为了项目方面临的大挑战。由于项目方是钢铁行业中相对年轻的民营企业，技术力量有待提升，当生产运营中出现技术问题时，项目方的技术团队暂时无法独立解决。
为帮助客户解决这一问题，保证生产线顺利运行，同时提升客户的技术实力，在异型坯连铸生产线投运之后，西门子即与项目方签订了“年度服务合同”。根据合同，西门子为项目方提供90人天的灵活可靠的技术支持，通过定期的维护确保客户正常生产，同时培训客户的技术力量，不断提升其自身的维护能力。
计划式服务+针对性培训=客户看得见的收益
西门子工业业务冶金技术部张静波经理是项目方异型坯连铸年度服务合同项目的主要负责人。谈起该合同为项目方带来的变化，他感触颇深。“年度服务合同的优势就在于以年度为周期提供服务，这样我们就可以根据时间提前计划服务内容，并在与客户的沟通中不断调整，终按照规划实现既定目标。”
