送风控制既要保证锅炉的安全燃烧，又要保证锅炉的经济效益，而送风控制系统终是由保证佳的炉膛出口氧量来标志其燃烧工况的安全与经济性的。
送风控制系统，是以调节高炉煤气的配风量为主，再以氧量校正回路串级接在送风量控制回路中。
3、引风量控制系统（炉膛负压控制系统）
根据高炉煤气发电实践工程，引风控制系统是以炉膛负压为主要控制参数，但可将送风总量信号作为前馈信号。
4、机炉协调控制
锅炉出口主蒸汽压力的改变，则高炉煤气燃料量的改变。若高炉煤气燃料量改变后，又必然通过其压力参数值的改变显示出来。因此，燃料系统的控制是通过调节高炉煤气进气阀门的开度来控制高炉煤气进气压力来控制燃烧状态（而不是控制煤气燃料的进气量），来配合汽机的控制达到控制锅炉主蒸汽压力的目的。因此，一方面，锅炉负荷的调节通过锅炉负荷分配运算系统进行运算及控制；另一方面，锅炉主蒸汽母管压力的控制是通过调节汽机阀门的开度来控制的。
5、主蒸汽温度控制系统
锅炉主蒸汽温度的调节，应根据锅炉特点进行设计。在规定的锅炉运行范围内，达到温度控制的负荷时（特别是低负荷、高负荷区域），控制一级过热器的出口温度使之达到设定范围之内。

6、给水控制（汽包水位控制）
正常的控制应是由蒸汽流量、汽包水位和给水流量组成的三冲量控制系统。当负荷小于30%时采用只有汽包水位的单冲量控制，当负荷大于30%时切换至三冲量控制，应提供单冲量和三冲量控制之间的无扰切换，反之亦然。
测量汽包水位的变送器，应为双重冗余，好三重冗余，并有压力补偿、比较和选择。
经温度补偿的给水流量应加入喷水流量，得出总给水流量信号。
蒸汽流量测量应有压力和温度补偿，并加入供热母管流量得出总蒸汽流量信号。
被调量：汽包水位

副回路输入信号：给水流量
前馈输入信号：主蒸汽流量

7、凝气器水位控制系统
保持一定的凝汽器水位，目的用于保障建立正常的凝汽器真空。凝汽器水位的过高和过低都可能破坏凝汽器真空。在凝汽器水位控制系统中，凝汽器水位测量值与给定值的偏差值进行PID运算，其运算结果调节凝汽器水位调节阀开度，维持凝汽器水位恒定。
